This is what overdue looks like!

Well, here we are still waiting, but only a day longer! Tomorrow is induction day, which I have mixed feelings about, while I can't wait to meet this guy I'd rather have it on my own terms! Since we went this route with our first I know what to expect in general (evil pitocin!) Nonetheless, I'm praying God's peace will abound in my heart and mind and things will go as smoothly as possible! Thank you so much for waiting patiently with us, what a joy it is to hear your stories and words of encouragement. We will post pictures asap, until then I have some posts scheduled so stay tuned, sweet friends!

I'm clinging to this verse, "My presence will go with you and I will give you rest." Exodus 33:14

p.s Sweet husband took these pictures (isn't he good?!) after he treated me to dinner which was finished off with limoncello bread pudding...seriously best dessert ever. Go check it out at Carrabbas italian grill!

Our day in Georgetown

My sister and I finally made it up to Georgetown motivated purely by the Lush (bath & soap) store and cupcakes!

See those balls on the right...they are bath bombs and pure heaven in a tub. My kiddo loves them because they turn the water different colors! All their products are handmade, ethically sourced, and green; such a great company.

We will be back, rest assured.

Still waiting for our lil man and today is the actual due date! There is some suspect back pain and cramping so fingers crossed. I went two weeks late with G and he was still only 6lbs 10oz! Making the most of my down time at the pool and on dates with hubby!

Our deck space

I finally grew a green thumb, turns out you just need to water plants everyday to keep them alive, who knew?! Its been life-changing for me and such a joy to see something grow and thrive, I'm fully addicted! Here's our deck space!

Scallops and risotto

 I can't begin to express how delicious this cheesy risotto was topped with wilted spinach and seared scallops! It certainly made us feel less guilty when we scarfed down triple berry crumble pie with vanilla ice cream! Recipe here.

Our 4th

Our fourth was full of all things American-pie, fireworks, grilling, and even the pool! We thought the baby might make his appearance with some consistent contractions then got shy!
