Our mother's day

All I wanted for Mother's day was eggs benedict! So naturally we hit up ihop to fill the craving and boy did it ever!

I got flowers, kisses, eggs benedict, and even made one of mom's favorite dishes in honor of her; what a great day! Happy mother's day to all the amazing moms that continue to inspire me!

A new Bible study!

My excitement is building as I begin another women's bible study, they truly are a lifeline for me. There's so much growth and encouragement that takes place there; truly hard to put into words. I sort of laughed at this cardigan when I first saw it then thought "man that is just begging to be worn with readers"! So here we are together, its kinda silly I know but when your pregnant its the little things!

Favorites Friday: Fancy-free

Brimming with feelings of summer lightheartedness due to our 90 degree weather! In the spirit of all things summer I"m painting my nails and donning some summer dresses this weekend, while I pine away for my husband's return (per usual!) Summer also brings us steps closer to welcoming our new bundle and I'm beginning to get uber excited to meet him!

Outdoor space inspiration board

Attempting to put the finishing touches on our deck space. We bought the pictured table and chair set at ikea last spring, but I'd love to spruce things up with an outdoor rug and some planters. How cool is that swing chair too?!

 I'm quickly out of comfortable things to wear as I approach the end! Here's some pieces all from H&M that might be the ticket!

Our unconventional Easter

Not sure what we didn't do this weekend...we threw a birthday/easter party, dyed eggs, hunted eggs, attended an Easter eve service, ate thai/sushi, made homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and for the grand finale rode rides at Kings Dominion! Phew I' exhausted!

I was inspired by this party!

 My little brother Joey came to visit and I had a taste of how brothers play!

 Gideon bursts out in dance all on his own even in his Easter best!

I felt like an easter egg myself!
